Is my Lovable app down?

Paste your app's URL. We check the page itself and the Supabase backend behind it, because a Lovable app can load fine while its backend is paused or gone.

What the checker tests

Common reasons a Lovable app goes down

  1. The Supabase project paused. Free projects pause after a stretch with no activity. The page loads, but sign-in and data fail. Restore it in the Supabase dashboard.
  2. The Supabase project was deleted or moved. The app still points at the old project address, which no longer exists.
  3. The app was unpublished or the URL changed. The domain answers with a 404.
  4. Custom domain DNS or SSL broke. The lovable.app address works but your own domain doesn't.
  5. An edge function or API key failed. Pages load but one feature errors. Uptime checks miss this; error tracking catches it.

FAQ

Why does my Lovable app load but nothing works?

The page is served by Lovable's hosting, but logins and data come from a Supabase project. If that project is paused, deleted or out of quota, the page still loads and every request behind it fails. The checker tests both halves separately.

Why did my Supabase project pause?

Supabase pauses projects on the free plan after a period of inactivity (about a week). A paused project stops answering until you restore it from the Supabase dashboard. Any regular traffic, like a monitoring ping, keeps a project active.

Does the checker see my data or my keys?

No. It loads the same public page and JavaScript any visitor's browser loads, reads the Supabase project address and the public anon key that are already in that code, and calls the project's health endpoint. It never logs in or reads tables.

How do I get told when my Lovable app goes down?

CanaryHub checks your app every few minutes and texts you on Telegram, SMS, email, Slack or Discord the moment it breaks, and again when it recovers. The free plan covers one app with instant alerts.
