Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CanaryHub, an uptime and observability service operated by Eigen Group LLC (Tustin, CA, USA). By creating an account or using canaryhub.ai, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
CanaryHub monitors the websites, APIs, and applications you configure and notifies you through your chosen channels (SMS, Telegram, WhatsApp, email) when they go down, recover, or degrade. Features and limits vary by plan as described on our pricing page.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for only monitoring endpoints you own or are authorized to monitor.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use CanaryHub to probe systems without authorization, evade rate limits or access controls, send unlawful content through alert channels, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
4. SMS Terms
When you opt in to SMS alerts, CanaryHub sends transactional text messages about the monitors on your account (for example, downtime, recovery, and health notifications).
- Consent and opt-in. You receive messages only after you provide your phone number and enable SMS alerts in your account settings. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies with the number of monitors on your account and their activity.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.
- Opt out any time by replying STOP to any message or disabling SMS alerts in settings. After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message.
- Get help by replying HELP or emailing support@canaryhub.ai.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we handle your mobile information is described in our Privacy Policy. Your mobile information will never be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice.
6. Availability and disclaimers
CanaryHub is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Monitoring and alerting are best-effort: we do not guarantee that every incident will be detected or that every alert will be delivered, and you should not rely on CanaryHub as your sole safeguard for critical systems.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eigen Group LLC’s total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including losses caused by undetected downtime or undelivered alerts.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date; material changes will be announced by email or in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Questions? Contact Eigen Group LLC · Tustin, CA, USA · support@canaryhub.ai
